I heard Artisans Village would be a place to go difficult on the website to find the address. And no where on the webpage could I find the hours different stores maybe open.

Thank you so much for your kind comments Sally. It was the original intent of the owners to create an atmosphere akin to Toronto's wonderful 'Distillery District', except of course, on a Brantford scale!

Improvements here are literally happening daily, even if they may not be apparent to the casual observer. Most recently some paving has been completed on some of the roadways, which was a large undertaking, but one which is appreciated by so many! We are working on some roof replacements now, another huge project! It is our hope to have an indoor retail 'mall' section very soon. Please keep checking back in our 'News' section and thank you for visiting!

How totally awesome is this, to have an Artisan Village right on our doorstep. I will definitely make this a regular go to and will bring my visiting company to experience it too! Kinda reminds me of the Distillery District in Toronto.

Someone needs to keep this website up to date.

Thank you for your feedback Suzanne! We are pleased to announce that soon there will be a large professional sign installed at the entry to our Village and it will list names of tenants along with unit numbers. There will also be a map key on the sign to show where these tenants are located.

The sign will only include those tenants who signed up to be included on the sign, so unfortunately some of our tenants will not show up on there. For those tenants, customers will continue to have to contact the vendors to find out exact locations.

It would be great if there was a map on this site of the units and tenants in the building. I walked over to visit a tenant I had heard was in the village, but ended up walking around and around trying find them as there is no map anywhere.

Thank you Ellie for your kind words! This has been a huge project undertaken with limited resources and although it has taken a couple of years to get this far, this is only the beginning!
Our change in zoning has allowed for some retail and we are negotiating with several very interesting parties right now which will make our 'Village' bigger and better!
Definitely stay tuned and hope you will visit our fine vendors again soon!

Hi'
I never knew Brantford had this wonderful place until I was in Ancaster at the " Bead Shop " and the owner asked about this place in Brantford. Wow, I am so happy for you all and hope it only gets bigger and better. This is what this city needs !! more culture. I take my hat off to you all who started this amazing journey of a place. I hope lots more people know or will learn about " Brantford's Artisan Village "
yours in health,

Just had a look at the Brantford Artisan's Village this weekend, so very excited to see an existing Industrial Building being repurposed for future, extended uses. Bringing new life into old historic buildings is what Branford should be doing far more of, and it is great to see this happening in West Brant!

I hope someday there is opportunity to have my own Photography Studio space in the Brantford Artisan's Village, but right now I will admire and watch the growth of businesses and entrepreneurs who call the Brantford Artisan's Village their home!

Exciting things ARE happening in Brantford!!!
